DIRECT VISION STANDARD AND HGV SAFETY PERMIT

To improve the safety of all road users, heavy goods vehicles over 12 tonnes will need to have a three-star rating or fit a Progressive Safe System to operate in London, United Kingdom from 28 October 2024.

MCY'S SECURITY SYSTEM

Our AI-powered cameras are engineered for complex urban driving conditions, effectively enhancing situational visibility and safety for vehicles in congested environments. The system automatically detects vulnerable road users—such as pedestrians and cyclists—in front of, to the side of, and within the vehicle’s blind spots, providing timely audio-visual alerts to the driver.

The core technology includes both the Blind Spot Information System (BSIS) and the Moving Off Information System (MOIS), which are now mandated under the latest Direct Vision Standard 2024 issued by Transport for London. These systems can be deployed as standalone or integrated solutions, and are also compatible with our IoT cloud platform for advanced monitoring capabilities.
